Ron Adams began doing stained glass in 1983. He loved this artistic expression and enjoyed researching and learning about glass as he taught himself this old art form.
He enjoyed finding unique ways the glass could be used and did many pieces for Mary Jo Leisure (his mother in law) who is a master decorative artist. Mary Jo painted on many of his pieces and his glass is featured in pattern books that are sold internationally.
Ronnie enjoys creating new designs and doing custom work for those wanting something different and unique.
After years of working with stained glass, Ron developed an allergy to the lead and had to stop working with the lead and solder for almost 8 years. He missed the artform and decided to try again taking precautions to minimize the exposure to his hands. He has been blessed that he has had no additional allergy problems and now 36 years later, from the time he began working with stained glass his love for this art form shows in the perfection of his work.
Ron is married to his wife, Harla of 45 years, has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and outdoor activity.
